Jim,

Excellent comparison. It looks like Sarah could beat Obama outright. I didn’t know that Obama had other names? What’s up with that dude!

Jim -

Are you lusting in your heart?

It's equivalent to adultery according to the Bible, you know. Coveting thy neighbor's wife? Ring a bell?

September 7, 2008 7:02 PM

Jim Hayett

Hi Jeff…I think you need to direct that question at Shoe Guy. I believe he is the one that said Sarah Palin is a babe? My post, and thanks for you comment, is directed at those that seem to attack her thanks to the lies from our MSM. I believe you are one of them who follow the MSM lead on Sarah? I’m hoping to get the message out that she is a qualified candidate for VP. This post is to prove that. However, when you look at the comparison closer, one can see that she should go head to head with Obama. That’s if the media would allow it.

Do you remember how the MSM treated Geraldine Ferraro?

September 7, 2008 7:27 PM

Jim Hayett

EXTRA, EXTRA! Reuters poll shows McCain has a 48% to 45% lead over Obama. Rasmussen has them dead even. What happened to Obama’s big lead? Is America waking up to the false “hope and change” from the Obama’s?

September 7, 2008 7:29 PM

marred25

First your comparing apples to oranges, why not compare her to Biden since they are running for the same position?

Second from someone who claims to be fair and balanced this is very biased.

Jim I want to thank you because a part of your blog really cracked me up and it takes a pretty good joke to get me to laugh. But when you said "Foreign Relations Experience - Governor of state that borders two foreign countries" and "Mlitary Affairs Experience - Commander in Chief of Alaska National Guard" I just about fell out of my chair busting a gut!!! You know I live in a state that borders Canada and I servered in the Air Force and Navy Reserve and have a son currently enrolled at West Point.....does that qualify me to be Commander in Chief if something were to happen to the President?

One last thing(sorry off topic) I just watched a show on the Fox Business station. They compared McCain's/Obama's economic packages. They stated that over the next 8 years Obama's economic plan would raise net taxes 5% and McCain's plan 3%. But they said McCains plan was a continuation of the trickle down plan used by Reagan and Bush, problem is the rich getting the tax breaks are expected to re-invest that money back into American companies but over the past 6 years that money has been invested more and more in foreign markets because they are making more money there then if they invest back into the USA. Thus continuing our economic struggles. Obama's plan would give tax breaks to people earning less than $250,000.00 (90% of working people) with the belief that this money will flow back into the US economy creating a stronger long term economy.

I am still undecided but info like this is getting me to lean because it is an issue that will directly affect my family. And based on your telling us all how Fox is fair/balanced I am giving this info more credibility amongst all the info I am sifting through.

September 7, 2008 7:37 PM

Jim Hayett

Billj…Barry Soetoro is an alias name that you will read little about form the MSM but will be mentioned by the fair and balanced press around the world. Obama used this name when he studied Islam and the Koran (Qur’an) while in Indonesia. Obama tried to deny all this in his books, but it was found that he did not only study Islam, he found it to be his religion of choice. However, in Feb. 2008, Detik TV in Jakarta, of all places, went on a hunt for this kid named Barry Soetoro. Jerome Corsi found the truth about Obama and published the book, “Obama Nation.” A must read for anyone who wants to know the truth about Barack Hussein Obama.

In the 2004 election it was found that the majority of voters looked for family values in their candidate. It was discovered that character was the main definition in values. Not religion to the contrary from the writings from the left-leaning MSM. If America has not changed since 2004, and the truth about Obama’s character is revealed, he will have a hard time convincing even the most liberal hardballers to vote his way.

September 7, 2008 7:43 PM

Jim Hayett

Marred25…first, let’s get the tax issue out of the way. Your data is very poor and is the typical liberal spin. Obama’s tax increase to all - and not even you have proved Obama tax bs to be false - is all over the investment community and the free press. His tax hikes will cause financial suicide. That’s common sense, economics 101. He too has you bamboozled into believing that the middleclass will get a tax cut?

Wealthy people all over the world invest in other countries. I’m in the investment business (over 28 years) and we do push hard for our clients to invest outside the U.S. But I can’t help but laugh out loud by your comment that puts Obama as the better candidate for taxes. The rich are rich because many have taken advantage of the American dream and started their business from scratch. These true believers of that dream have the assets to invest in nontraditional investments. What is wrong with that? It’s not illegal. But the real laughter I received after I read your comment is you think the rich get tax breaks and should be taxed even more. That’s a total joke. By taxing the rich this country loses jobs and the so called “tax breaks” will become even greater as this money leaves the U.S. as it did before Reagan lowered taxes. How did you not know or think of this? Raising taxes hurts everyone. If you have such envy and hate for the rich, why don’t you join them? America let’s you do this if you have the dream and the drive to move on with your life. I started my own business from scratch, fell down twice and even filed for bankruptcy. But my wife and I didn’t mail in the forms. I said I’m going to make this work and we did. That was 17 years ago. So instead of just hating the rich – the ones that employ and created the longest job growth in history under President Bush – why don’t you join the American dream and start your own business?

The Biden/Palin issue has some merit. But you seem to forget that this is only one issue and Biden’s foreign policy is a joke. Biden is so off the wall that he actually wanted to break up Iraq. He had the opportunity to show off his foreign policy experience during the DMC, but that was glaringly absent from his speech. Why the sudden silence? Mr. Biden's idea that he tried to pass two years ago was greeted with much concern from his own constituents.  He wanted a Kurdish state in the north from Mosul; a Shiite state in the provinces just north of Baghdad. Had he convinced the idiot democrats, and he almost did, Iraq would have been lost, not won like we are seeing today. The civil war that your democrats in Washington who said, ‘the war is lost’ or the ‘war can never be one’ (Hillary, Pelosi, etc.), would have been lost. So just because you have some experience in foreign policy doesn’t mean you are suitable. Biden’s recent moves with Iraq actually work against him. That’s why Palin is a much better choice. But please remember: We don’t vote for the VP. And Obama has less experience, as proven by my post, than any of the three.

Sarah Palin is a reactionary religious fanatic.  Click here for the bizarre crap she is involved with:

@JIM:  I don't know what's sadder...you being stupid, or you being ignorant.  I say this, because when it comes to political discourse, what you are putting forth is embarrassingly stupid, in a Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter sort of way.  And I'm not saying this in anger...I am being honest with you because I care about the level of political discourse in this country, and you are helping to lower it.

September 7, 2008 9:24 PM

BillyJ

Jim, why did you print Blackwell's comment" It sounded "pointless" to me...

September 7, 2008 9:49 PM

Jim Hayett

Victor…read your comment. Who’s stupid and ignorant? These are comments that come from typical liberals who can’t argue the truth. You see Victor; stupidity comes from those that try to persuade others that there are two sides to the truth. I have a pretty smart German Shorthair and I think he even knows that. Maybe you should take a lesson or two from him?

What is posted is fact about Sarah. Why can’t you think for yourself Victor? You do seem fairly reasonable and somewhat smart. That’s why I can’t figure out why you have the ignorant sheep mentality.

September 7, 2008 10:17 PM

Jim Hayett

Victor…are you saying that The Rev. Wright and his racist and hate filled, anti-American church is better than the Bible studying Church where Sarah Palin goes to? The Obama church where his kids were baptized, the same church he and his “I finally like America” wife attended for 20 years? The same church and preacher that would be Obama’s religious mentor while in the White House? The same church that preaches hate for whites, hate for any nonblack? That same church? The same church and the same reverend (below) that has the many hate filled and GD America videos? That same church Victor?

www.youtube.com/watch

the same "crap" that Obama is involved with? I would bet you anything that if you polled America, the Obama hate filled, racist church would win the evil church of the century.

September 7, 2008 10:44 PM

marred25

Jim I never said I believed Obama's plan was better(you don't like people putting words in your mouth then why do you do it to others?)but the info I stated came from FBN(FOX BUSINESS NETWORK) so I thought it might have some merit?

I have no problem with rich people. but if McCains plan is to continue trickle down economics then the rich need to be investing in the USA and the news segment I saw had graphs showing the majority of wealthy money over the past 6 years going out of the country which has been a factor in weaking our dollar causing even more investing outside the USA. So just how will this economic plan work if investing keeps going outside the USA?

Jim I guess I lack common sense and I took econ 101 over 30 years ago so I don't really remember what I learned. I do know that gas prices are costing me a lot and they are also causing other items I purchase to go up which is cutting deeply into my disposable income. Now this is happenning under a Bush administration which had control of Congress up until recently and nothing McCain or Obama as said makes me believe anything is going to change in the next eight years. So Mr. know it all tell me(Mr. Lack of Common Sense) why I should vote for McCain? And please if your reply is more Obama is going to end the world crap and not what McCain is going to actually do then don't waste your time answering.............Yea Palin is tough and will be ready on day one to be Commander in Chief if the need arises thats why she was the only one of the four not on a news show today, not even Fox??????

September 8, 2008 12:23 AM

Jim Hayett

Marred25…when I read comments like this and I see that someone will make a voting decision on an absolute falsehood, or lie, I realize how important it was for me and my family to leave the liberal democratic party like I did some years back. Your comment makes me wonder how any one can get so bamboozled. Is the media just that smart to know how to convince people like you into a vote? Are the dems. that smart too?  There is no chart that shows the MAJORITY of money from the wealthy is leaving the U.S. in droves. And there is no chart that proves any of this MSM and democratic hog wash is true. Marred25, think for yourself on this issue for a minute. How can the MAJORITY of the wealthy taxpayers’ funds leave the U.S.? Where would it go and why (I’m assuming your saying the funds that are leaving are in foreign tax shelters and not just foreign ADR’s?)? If the U.S. dollar is falling on this news, than these funds must be coming back since the U.S. dollar is on a rise? And a big rise at that! Two months ago I bought the U.S. $ for all my clients. Marred25 there is little truth to your statement. But let’s look at this further. If the wealthy are leaving the U.S. as you say, what will happen if Obama wins? His tax hike is the largest in history and the dems. spending bill is also the largest in history. What will that do to the wealthy? Will the funds leave even faster than you suggest? If so, according to your concern, Obama is a very bad choice for America.

In regards to putting words in your mouth, maybe you didn’t say Obama was a better choice for taxes. But all what you say implies that. So if your words are not what you mean, send me a side note so I don’t make this mistake again please.

@JIM:  I overlooked your description details..."smoking hot", eh?  Hmm, going to the MILF-zone here is a tad sexist, don't you think, if not down-right creepy?

September 8, 2008 8:25 AM

Ed Furey

Marred25:  The Democrats took control of congress two years ago and now congress has the worst approval rating in history.

September 8, 2008 8:31 AM

Jim Hayett

Ed…thanks for the reminder. But I don’t think these liberals who comment care much as to how poor the dems have done in the last two years (9% approval rating). The MSM and the DNC ONLY know how to hate and smear their opponent so their liberal base knows who NOT to vote for.

September 8, 2008 8:55 AM

Jim Hayett

Victor…hmmm, nice come back. As usual, still no proving Palin’s greater experience than Obama. And she’s ONLY the VP candidate.

September 8, 2008 8:55 AM

Jim Hayett

Victor...

ps, that's the "public opinion." I never said it was mine. Can't you liberal intellegencia read the entire post? Why do I have to keep repeating myself with you liberals?

September 8, 2008 8:57 AM

Amy L. Geiger-Hemmer

Marred25 writes:

First your comparing apples to oranges, why not compare her to Biden since they are running for the same position?

Well, marred25, the mainstream media is doing a pretty good job of comparing Obama to Palin.  Why don't you tell them that Palin is not Obama's competition?  They seem to have forgotten.  They also seem to have forgotten how to report on the polls, since McCain has taken the lead.  I checked out today's Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel (9/8/08) - and there was nothing on the latest Gallup Poll showing McCain ahead of Obama.  There was nothing in the "newsblogs" section, which is updated hourly -leading me to believe that the Journal/Sentinel doesn't want to print the story.  Can you honestly say that if Obama had been trailing McCain for a few months, then suddenly  Obama burst out ahead of McCain in the polls, the Journal/Sentinel wouldn't have posted it as soon as possible?

September 8, 2008 10:53 AM

Jim Hayett

Marred25….I want to apologize if I sounded like I was beating up on you. But economics and investments are my profession. When I see people get persuaded by the MSM and the liberal propaganda, I have to step in. Especially on this subject. But you also make mention to the worst of all MSM persuasive propaganda: Bush is responsible for oil prices.  That is so hard for most good Americans to believe. It’s hard to understand how anyone with some form of education and some form of political knowledge can actually be persuaded to believe in that fallacy. So, again, here is economics and politics 101. The President doesn’t make the laws and rules. The Senate and Congress do. The President only gives them ideas to look into and the President will help pass or veto such bills. There is NO law EVER that President Bush passed to increase the price of oil and gas. We also have no “big oil’ in this country that the liberal MSM and the democrats in Washington want you to believe. Exxon/Mobile is our largest at #14 in the world. Oil is owned by the most inhuman dictators the world may have even known. And what really scares me is that not even the intelligent forms of life in the democratic party can admit this. So one has to wonder just exactly how stupid liberals are. The proof is right here. Did you complain when Carter was in office and the price of gas was actually higher in the 70’s than it is now? Probably not. And why? Would you blame this on Kerry, Gore or Obama if they were in office? That’s one of many reasons why our country has no free press. These liberals even have you convinced of these liberal lies. And too many uneducated voters will vote for Obama on this fallacy. This is why America is slowly but surely deteriorating. Thanks to liberalism.

Want lower gas prices? Take over an oil country, which is the worst thing to do, or drill here in the U.S. More capacity, along with lower consumption, and prices will be lowered. But Obama wants to tax the oil companies profits even more (the second highest in the world, mind you). Obama said that his “tax hike” on these profits (how will he tax the other 13 non-US oil companies?) will lower the cost of oil. And the MSM won’t touch this with a ten foot pole. Know why marred25? They know that is an outright political campaign lie just to get a vote. And it’s working. Most American want to hear anything when it comes to oil price relief. And Obama and his supporters are great at demagoguery. This is why you hear my total frustration with liberals that act like they are so smart, but show me only a complete lack of a brain. Even you said it: The high taxes causes jobs and money to leave the U.S. How will Obama’s tax hike on oil and us Americans stop that? See my simple point? The MSM won’t tell you this.

marred25

Jim I told you I saw a news segment on Fox Business Network and it showed a comparison of McCain/Obama economic plans and I basicly was asking for your take on both plans. And what do I get back from you "Your comment makes me wonder how any one can get so bamboozled. Is the media just that smart to know how to convince people like you into a vote? I was asking for your analysis not for you to call me an idiot?????

You go on to write "If the wealthy are leaving the U.S. as you say" I did not say this I said it was stated on FBN, an outlet YOU claim is fair an balanced, again I was only trying to solicate you analysis but you continue to give anti-Obama crap which really is not very helpful. I specifically asked you to just address the McCain ecomnomic plan and you did not, WHY?

Amy you should mind your own business, I addressed my comments to Jim because I read his blog and I believe he wants people to respond with what they think. But if it makes it any clearer for you I believe ANYONE who compares Obama to Palin is comparing apples to oranges. Sorry I was not more clear earlier but not all us are hypocrites?

September 8, 2008 12:17 PM

Jacob Pickard

Marred25 -  Don't worry Jim will forget and insult you again, try to bait you, and beat on you more when you disagree with him again and corner him in his own box of insult, inconsitant and hypocritical argyments.

I know from experience. He can't help it, he hates the fact the he was liberal at some point in his life, and has to prove to the conservatives on this board that he is no longer a traitor and terrorist defender.

Jim - marred25 has you pegged to the floor again

Your comparision/contrast is pock-marked paranoid liberal hating and seething little comments. I know some of it's true for Obama, but your lack of a critical thinking, favoritism, and inconsitancy on Palin's record exposes your bais again.

Your no centrist, nor are you a moderate. Your a Libreral Hating Rightwing Partisan.

Thanks ED for stating something all of us all ready knew, and your point is? Did not realize Jim needed all this help to avoid answering my questions. How will McCains economic plan help my family? Why was Palin not on a news show Sunday like all the other candidates?

September 8, 2008 5:50 PM

marred25

Jim where in my response did I say Bush was responsible for higher gas prices???? Maybe I am the idiot you make me out to be so let me be more clear if I can. I do know that gas prices are costing me a lot and they are also causing other items I purchase to go up which is cutting deeply into my disposable income. I can say honestly that my current economic situation is not better than it was eight years ago and nothing McCain or Obama has said makes me believe anything is going to change in the next eight years. So can you tell me what benefits you see happening for us has a nation and for my individual family if McCain is elected. Thank you for being so patient with me..............Ed/Amy if you have anything pointless to add feel free!

Jim Hayett

Hey crybabies. Yes LH and MC...take the FU swearwords out of your comment, MC, and I will post it. And LH? The wife beating comment out too and I will post your comment.

Looks like the truth brings out the hate attacks and the smear campaigns from you liberals. Especially MC and LH. If you too want to lie, as usual, about any nonliberal politician, I will drag you out on the carpet and call you anti-American too. Especially when you can’t think for yourself and copy the MSM and their smears against Bush, McCain or Palin. Never have you heard me attack a sitting president with outright hate and lies. All I do is point out how wrong Obama is with his “hope and change” and you two get you undies in a bundle. Why don’t you stop your hate filled kicking and screaming and show us just how great Obama is? And why you two are at it, stop insulting my intelligence. Hee,hee.

September 8, 2008 7:15 PM

Jim Hayett

marred25....here is your own comment you made this morning. "I do know that gas prices are costing me a lot and they are also causing other items I purchase to go up which is cutting deeply into my disposable income. Now this is happenning under a Bush." If this is not blaming Bush for higher gas prices, than what is???? I can’t respond to this  because you blamed Bush for higher gas prices. Why do you deny this?

McCain will NOT increase your taxes which will help keep job growth. Yes, we are in a slowdown, but GDP, the true measure of an economy and a true measure of recessions, is still growing strong. McCain will keep that going. McCain will also not cut our military down to levels under Clinton and McCain will not destroy our missile defense systems. Obama thinks the enemy will just go away if he wins. McCain will also stop handing out free $$ to countries that hate us and are corrupt and have dictators. McCain will also do much better for you and me when it comes to oil because he knows that taxing the so called “big oil” is only going to raise the price of a gallon of gas. Obama wants to tax the profits of "big oil.” But “big oil” is not in the U.S. McCain wants to do what the vast majority of Americans want to do: drill here and stop our total dependence on foreign oil.

You insinuate, like other liberals, that when I show you how ridiculous one of your comments are, that actually come from the liberal MSM, that I’m insulting you. Marred25, when you make a statement like “I saw had graphs showing the majority of wealthy money over the past 6 years going out of the country which has been a factor in weaking our dollar causing even more investing outside the USA. So just how will this economic plan work if investing keeps going outside the USA?” That’s utterly ridiculous and absolutely not true. The US dollar has NOT dropped due to wealthy investors investing outside the US. As I asked you before, if that is true, what do you say about the fast rising US dollar??? And higher taxes, under Obama, will make this worse according to your statement. I’m sorry, but that is as ridiculous as it gets. But those statements are what so many people believe because Obama said so? And that is an outright lie. I will defend those that liberals attack with their lies and hate and go after those that don’t tell the truth.

September 8, 2008 7:42 PM

BillyJ

Jim,

What I noticed is that the more you, Amy, Ed and others show just how low these liberals go, the more the hate and insults come from the likes of MC, Liberalhamm and Blackwell. It’s obvious that Obama is behind. And he should be. Obama is starting to get exposed.

Libhamm, why don’t you try and take Hayett’s data and make a debate. Why is it that every time you get wacked with your liberal lies, you and MC start a major uproar and boohoo all the way home. grow up you two and make these blogs more interesting. Amy, Jim and Ed have you liberals so figured out that none of you can debate with any brains. Get a life Liberal hamm.

Why do you hate mongers have to use such filthy language? LH and MC, this is directed at you

Jim - This is so great. Again, you abuse poeple. You attack and insult them, and then you expect us to forgive you, and then you go do it again.

You have an abusive personality. Get this straight Jim, I'm going after you and you alone.

No Jim you hate "liberals" and everything we stand for. You think just by being a liberal we can't tell the truth or be ethical, etc.... Your hatered seethes out in everything you write.

Remember Jim, Palin was for the Bridge to nowhere before she was agsint it and then kept the money. She LIED in her speech, just like you lie to protect her:

"THE FACTS: Palin did abandon plans to build the nearly $400 million bridge from Ketchikan to an island with 50 residents and an airport. But she made her decision after the project had become an embarrassment to the state, after federal dollars for the project were pulled back and diverted to other uses in Alaska, and after she had appeared to support the bridge during her campaign for governor.

McCain and Palin together have told a broader story about the bridge that is misleading. She is portrayed as a crusader for the thrifty use of tax dollars who turned down an offer from Washington to build an expensive bridge of little value to the state.

"I told the Congress 'thanks but no thanks' for that Bridge to Nowhere," she said in her convention speech last week.

That's not what she told Alaskans when she announced a year ago that she was ordering state transportation officials to ditch the project. Her explanation then was that it would be fruitless to try to persuade Congress to come up with the money."

Damn liberal media!! Or is the media liberal becuase you don't disagree with it?

JIM - Sorry here's the last time you insulted my intellegance, without any provocation from me. I need to use your own words you have such a short memory about how quickly you insult others:

"LH...I have to finally say it but you are not the brightest one in your class........ The Enquire is NOT a major news outlet that people trust as their eyes and ears to the world and our own politics. From the despicable foul language I get from MC’s email to your analogy about the MSM just shows how wrong liberalism brainwashes even people like you. You two seem so desperate to push your so called “intelligencia” ideology that you resort to the typical liberal smear and liberal spin. Ignore the message, but attack the messenger. Maybe, just maybe, liberals like you can debate the campaign issues with out the lies and spin. But that probably will not happen until we are attacked by Martians."

Jim in your response you said ignore the message and attack the messenger. This is what I am exactly doing with you, you inulted me again you keep on pushing the limits.

Now I could care less about your message. Please try to blame this on the liberal media. Oh wait, you wrote the above reply to me.

Guess I caught you with your own words again.

LHsaid…”Jim - This is so great. Again, you abuse poeple. You attack and insult them, and then you expect us to forgive you, and then you go do it again.

No Jim you hate "liberals" and everything we stand for. You think just by being a liberal we can't tell the truth or be ethical, etc.... Your hatered seethes out in everything you write.” LH, this is absolutely not true. Isn’t this an insult since it’s a lie?

And what attack is this? “ Get this straight Jim, I'm going after you and you alone.”  Didn’t someone ask you and MC to start practicing what you preach so you can command some sort of respect? Maybe that prophet was correct.

Glad your comment said that Palin DID turn down the bridge to nowhere. Better than practicing Islam and then lying about it.

Jim Hayett

LH...you get mad at me for my so called "insulting your intelligence.” MC too. However, when you say marred25 has me “pegged to the floor” when I pointed out his data and facts to completely wrong, how can I NOT insult your intelligence. Sadly, I have no other words but poor intelligence. I can’t insult your intelligence because on this topic I see you have little if any,

Jacob Pickard

Jim - She lied in her acceptance speech. she also didn't seel the jet on e-bay, another lie. She got 27 million in earmarks for her city when she was a mayor and hired a lobbyist. How is that not a lie."

It is true Jim. I don't think you can write one reply or one blog without some anti-liberal remark. If you don't get it re-read your own words.

Insults, Jim, maybe you should think about what you write before you react with digs on people intellegance the first chance you get. I'm insulting you now becuase I'm sick of it from you. I've had enough.

 Slime about Obama: www.factcheck.org/.../sliming_obama.html

Read it for yourself. As I said I don't care about issues anymore.

I've already said I do not respect you anymore, do to your contstant insults of me and others who disagree with you.

September 8, 2008 8:24 PM

Jacob Pickard

Jim - If your memory is that short, I remember the first time you adressed me in a forum you went to insult my intellegance right away.

 I'm through dealing with you.

September 8, 2008 8:26 PM

Jim Hayett

LH…Ok, I see we are having dialogue. Your mad because I suggested that your trying to state that the National Enquirer is a mainstream news outlet make you not too bright? Those that adore magazines like this would have to agree. Am I wrong?

But LH, these are your insults to me. Do you see me crying? LH said, “Jim - Did I mention your dishonest and a shill.”

September 8, 2008 8:30 PM

Jim Hayett

LH...if the "slime about Obama" is not true, why don't you try and prove it. And maybe you and MC can do this without so much hate and insults? It helps get your point accross a little better.

September 8, 2008 8:32 PM

Jim Hayett

More so called Liberalhammer non-insults to me from LH. “Jim - Your a dishonest, lying, ethic-less, trying to prove he's not a liberal anymore, conservative wanna-be. You bore me, now move along.” Maybe you should think about who you attack. You seem to cast the first stone, didn’t you?I dish out what I get and no more. Stop your insults and mine do to. Your lies included.

September 8, 2008 8:43 PM

BillyJ

LH,

I can’t believe what I’m hearing. And you want us to follow your liberal ways? When others show just how wrong you may be (not all the time but sometime) you go on a sick and hatefilled rampage and attack and insult. But you complain when you get insulted back. Is this the liberal way? I don’t ever want to do a blog on the JS site because liberals like you are so filled with hate for America and those that will not go along with your distorted thinking, I fear you and MC will attack (physically) me and my family. Will the moderator please ask LH to leave this site?

Jim if you read my last response I took out the reference to Bush so I am not sure why you think I blame Bush alone for the state of our economy. And thanks for partially answering my question, I understand what you are saying about McCains's economic plan but how is he going to reduce the deficit and still accomplish all the things he listed in his speech and build up the military without raising taxes? One last thing for tonite Jim and I know your going to rip my head off for this one but here goes. Jim I do not read or listen to very many bloggers or pay attention to much of what the media says about the candidates, what I do is listen to the candidates entire speeches when I can or I get the transcripts and read the entire speech. You stated earlier that McCain is not going to raise taxes which is what McCain is saying in his speeches and Obama said in his acceptance speech he is not going to raise my taxes. Now I do not believe that either of them is lieing so it is up to me to decide which can accomplish what they say they are going to do and vote, now you said Obama is going to raise taxes my taxes, did Obama say that himself or is that coming from another source? If so can you point the source out to me. THANKS! Oh what about Palin not being on any news shows Sunday, no one wants to tackle that one, come on Amy, Ed?

You people disgust me!!!!!  I came to this site with the hope of gathering some information from the two differing sides of issues - liberal and conservative - and all I found is personal attacks and name calling.  I have asked several questions and put forth some radical proposals that I thought would have generated some response either laughing at their absurdity or providing some kind of a logical rebutal.  But no - you people are more interested in attacking each other than providing concrete information to support your view point. I'll look at your blogs for another couple of days to see if you can clean up your acts and start providing some legitimate information that can be verified from other sites - even if they are totally biased one way or the other - and if I don't see any improvement in the respect you show one another, I'm out of here!  It is all right to hold different opinions on the issues but you all need to respect each other and stop the name calling and derogatory language toward each other. Adults - no way, go find your time out chairs and sit there for a while.  When you're there, try reading Romans 13:9-10.

Jim Hayett

Referee333…may I ask you to please read all comments. LH and MC have made some of the most vicious attacks on me, and other liberals have made vicious attacks on my family. Many of those attacks were NOT posted on my blog but sent to me through the private email system or mailed directly to my house. Some so cowardly that they tried to disguise their name. I’m guilty of ONLY giving back what I take. But with one HUGE caveat: I do NOT use the hate filled very draconian filthy swearwords that I receive from the liberals who email or comment on my blog. F.U, the C word, A-hole, Go F. yourself and some addressed to my wife. Many of these letters and emails obviously I can not print. But many have been sent to the Hartland Police. And now I had to send one to the FBI here in Milwaukee. My office has been urinated on and beer and food tossed at my windows. But let’s look at the facts as to how these liberals attack me and others. It all starts when a post of mine shows the true side of Obama or other liberals (not all liberals are bad politicians. That’s why I’m a centrist). When this happens, as you can see, the attacks rise to major proportions. Why? Do I or anyone not have the right to show Obama’s true side of him and his wife? Had the MSM done its job, I wouldn’t have to do this. Would I? Don’t tell me that these liberals are NOT the ones doing the VICIOUS attacks. That won’t fly here or anywhere.

And what makes it worse is the only liberal response, again, is to attack me, not the message. That’s why I say the truth hurts. What I posted about Obama and his direction he wants to take this country in is very accurate. That was proven last night when Obama was on FOX News and the O’Reilly Show. Did you see it? Liberals are filled with so much hate: Do whatever can be done to get a liberal in office. Can’t you see this?

Jacob Pickard

Jim, BilyJ - I would never use violence agsaint somebody I don't agree with, that's something you rigthwingers seem to do most often and quite effectivly I may add.

I never threatend anybody I just said the the way Jim deals with people he is abusive. Jim your paranoid, trying to pin & blame all those disgusting things on me.

As I said before, for ME this is gone beyond politics, My problems with Jim are Personal.

So try to stop pinning this on a liberal issue, I've been insulted to many times by JIM why trying to discuss an issue. I can't beleive you guys are trying to use me as generalization of all Liberals, how dishonest is that?

Maybe Jim should think before he gets mad and insults others FIRST. So Jim after this post I have to take a break, its a lot of work trying to stay pissed. I don't know how you do it.

September 9, 2008 6:34 AM

Jim Hayett

LH…let’s put this to rest. MC too. Side emails will work - but I don’t hae LH’s email address - as long as both of you keep the foul language to yourself. You both attack me as bad if not worse than my comments to you. Your emails prove that. But I will stop as soon as you. In fact, I will do the Christian thing that I should have done all along. I will start now. But I want your help and I want it, please, through a side email. MC too. If I see that I believe you have lied or made a truly disgusting comment, how should I deal with it? The worst of words I use for this is “stupid” or “ignorant.’ What are a better choice of words for both of you since these are insulting to you?

September 9, 2008 6:45 AM

Jim Hayett

LH...again, please read your own comments that i copied and posted. They are very insulting to me too.

September 9, 2008 6:49 AM

Jim Hayett

Marred25…I am now completely confused by your past comments. Here’s what you said to me and I responded as easily as I could. But it’s difficult when one puts words in my mouth, so bear with me. “"I do know that gas prices are costing me a lot and they are also causing other items I purchase to go up which is cutting deeply into my disposable income. Now this is happening under Bush." How was I supposed to take that? It sounds to me that you blame Bush for the high gas prices. All I did is show you economics 101 that the problem with gas prices does not start with any U.S. President since we don’t control the supply for oil. But now you change the comment to “Jim if you read my last response I took out the reference to Bush so I am not sure why you think I blame Bush alone for the state of our economy.” I thought you were upset with me because I answered your question as to why Bush is responsible for higher gas prices? Which one is it? If you want to send me a side email, you can do that at the top of my blog.

If I could make a suggestion instead of "stupid" or "ignorant", how about "I think you were misinformed" or "that's not the way I interpret that"  I thank you all for trying.  If you have personal issues with each other please keep them personal and stop putting them on public display.  I am attempting to decide how I will vote this fall and this site has been helpful in gathering opposing views.  I admire the dedication you all have to your beliefs but I get concerned with the vehemence you use to express them.  I'm 60+ years old and still have not decided which way my political leanings go.  To use Jim's term I quess I would be called a "centrist".  A lot of people will call me "a flip-flopper" because I will change my mind on issues, sometimes more than once, based on the information I find and how I believe it will affect me and mine.  Once again thank you all for trying to clean it up. Now in an attempt at humor (poor attempt) when I asked you all to read Romans when you were on your time out chair, MC that did not apply to you because I realize you don't read science fiction.

Paul Nolan

Seriously, you right wingers think Palin is fit to be VP/President?  Seems to me if that's really the case, we all would have heard about this woman before McCain made his selection.

Palin's "Executive Experience" was Mayor for 10 years?  She was Mayor of Wasilla (population 7,000) from 1996-2002, that's not 10 years Jim.  Also, please add her ability to sell planes on e-Bay to her executive profile.

If we all had universal health care, perhaps having children with Down's syndrome would increase in popularity.

September 9, 2008 11:39 AM

Jim Hayett

Paul…I don’t necessarily disagree with you. My posts are to counter the horrible bashing she gets from the liberal MSM. And it’s horrible. I know you must know all about the viciousness about her daughter to the DNA samples, etc. She is not a Clinton and doesn’t deserve this. But she is not the most qualified. I do agree. However, if you plan on not voting for the qualifications of the VP, than I assume you will NOT vote for Obama due to his qualifications vs. McCain’s?

September 9, 2008 1:00 PM

Jim Hayett

Paul...I don't believ Sarah Palin has a daughter or child with Downs syndrome.
