For those of you out there looking for some additional information and/or support, here's a really neat website that offers both!  They average 850,000 visitors a month and have all of the latest news and information on a lot of topics including living with hearing loss.  The link below will take you to the Hearing Loss/Deafness area of the website.  There is no charge to become a member and you can 'post' your stories, questions and advice on hearing loss.

Dailystrength.org is a wonderful website with support and information for almost any life circumstance you might be struggling with.  Many diseases, addictions, loss of a family member, divorce, etc.  I had forgotten about it.  Thanks for the reminder.

Married for 30 years to my High School Sweetheart and mother of 4 (Jeff, Kari, Kristi & John) plus 1 very lovely daughter-in-law (Lindsey). Have been hard of hearing since early childhood. Recently decided to investigate more on hearing loss and am amazed at all of the new things available to make living in the hearing world easier. A resident of Wales for the past 16 years and part business owner along with my husband in Strategic Business Solutions, Inc./www.myresearchpartner.com Have also volunteered for a myriad of things ranging from being an EMT for the local fire dept. to setting up basketball tournaments at our childrens’ school (ULS) to being part of a team to assist the rebuilding efforts down in Biloxi, MS. Co-Leader along with Jim Savageau for the Southern Wisconsin Lake Country HLAA Chapter which meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Wales Community Center located at 216 W. South St. in Wales.
