Wondering what to do this weekend? Are you into romantic comedies? Maybe you're looking for something other than going to the movie theater.
Then head on out to East Troy High School this weekend and see the limited run of Love Letters, a play about the love of two people told by the letters they've written to one another over the years. Love Letters chronicles the ups and downs of the latter 20th century, and of two souls longing for a love and bond they can never quite achieve. (The comedy does deal with adult subject matter.)
The production stars Doug Mancheski, known to Wisconsin audiences for his many roles with American Folklore Theatre, including Marvin in the acclaimed hit musical Guys on Ice, and Heidi Mueller Smith, co-founder of Milwaukee's Cornerstone Theatre.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. The show will start at 7:30 on Friday Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22. Call Robert Trader at 262-215-2106 for tickets and information.
