Village of Hartland - Police are investigating the cause of death of a 23-year-old Sussex man found in his vehicle Monday afternoon.
Jordan R. Caine of N74 W22138 Valley View Road was found in a vehicle parked outside of 129 E. Capitol Drive. Hartland police and fire personnel were notified at about 3:50 p.m. Chenequa and Delafield officers also assisted at the scene.
The Waukesha County Medical Examiner's Office is also investigating the cause of death.
Caine "had a connection" with a female who lived at 129 E. Capitol Drive, according to a statement released by the Hartland Police Department. The female was taking into protective custody for a medical condition and a 1-year-old child was removed from the residence by child protective services, the statement said.
