Still no word on Palmyra-Eagle School Board winners

The Palmyra-Eagle School Board Administrator's office stated that they should have all the vote totals on the Palmyra-Eagle School Board election by this afternoon.

Voters in both the Village and Town of Eagle chose Laura Stehno and Craig Schnuelle for the school board seats.  Stehno received 103 votes in the Town of Eagle and 132 in the Village.  Schnuelle had 130 votes in the Town and 140 in the Village.

Anderson received 58 in the Town and 77 in the Village and Kracker had 88 in the Town and 82 in the Village.

Check back this afternoon for final results.


 

Kolb new District 24 Supervisor

 Walter Kolb received 1,331 votes and becomes new District 24 Supervisor for the Waukesha County Board.

Bill Mitchell received 1,155 votes. 


 

Mukwonago Town Board says good-bye to Nicoson

 Ruth Ann Nicoson, who has served on the Mukwonago Town Board for the past six years, received 395 votes today, which wasn't enough for her to keep her spot on the Town Board.  Stefanowski received 567 votes and Robert Lawn came in a close second with 546 votes.

Town of Mukwonago Deputy Clerk Rhoda Bagley said 1,108 residents came out and voted today, which was a typical turnout for the Town.


 

Reid and Ross elected to Genesee Town Board

Tonight proved to be a close election for the four candidates running for Genesee Town Board.  Reid received 423 votes, followed by Ross with 404 votes.  Finishing a close third was 21-year-old Jeremy Schmittinger.  Vaugh Werner received 245 votes.

Schmittinger thanks all who came and voted.

"This has been a great experience," he said.  "Hopefully this won't be the last election I participate in."

794 residents voted today. 


 

Stader's six years on Big Bend Village Board comes to an end

 James Soneberg, David Craig and Leah Fickau received enough votes for spots on the Big Bend Village Board.  Craig came in first with 205 votes, followed by Soneberg who received 158 votes and Fickau who received 180 votes.  Stader finished fourth  with 120 votes.

290 people came out and voted, which is just slightly under the 350 residents who voted at the primary. 


 


 

Wilke loses seat on Ottawa Town Board

 Incumbent Mary Wilke received 254 votes at tonight's election - not enough for her to keep her seat on the Town Board.  Incumbent Cheryl Rupp landed on top with 352 votes; newcomer Mackay Riemenschneider came in a close second at 345.

 Ottawa Town Clerk Melissa Klein said there was a 20% turnout, which is about what was expected.



 

Polls close; watch for results here

The polls have closed in Lake Country and throughout Wisconsin, sealing the fate of numerous municipal, county and state races in this spring election.
