Village of Sussex - North Shore Bank and the Sussex Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a helicopter ping pong ball drop at Lions Daze on Saturday, July 12. The drop will be at the Sussex Village Park center baseball diamond at 6:30 p.m. The helicopter will drop about 500 specially-marked ping pong balls. Kids and adults can pick one ping pong ball and redeem it at the Sussex Area Chamber table at Lions Daze for a prize donated by area businesses. Prior to the ping pong drop, the helicopter will fly over the end of the Lions Daze parade.
Current donating businesses include: Adventure Rock, The Chocolate House, Burghardt’s Sporting Goods, Hardee’s, Kid-Dos Hair Salon, Logger’s Park, Pick N’ Save in Sussex, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Tony Maronni’s, Sussex Bowl, Sussex Place Sports Bar & Grill and Culver’s Frozen Custard.
