I would like someone knowledgeable to tell me why 17 feet is a distance from a shoreline that could imply environmental damage. I assume Club Porticello will not be lobbing garbage out of the kitchen into the lake...

This isn't just a NIMBY thing on the part of those privileged enough to have lakefront, is it? I for one would LOVE to have a formal restaurant worthy of the title "formal restaurant" in Oconomowoc (sorry, Spinnakers, you don't really count as formal...).

This agreement represents a ton of hard work between several organizations to do the right/safe thing. I applaud the work by AHS Superintendant Craig Jefson and Village Administrator Wally Thiel in forging this agreement. The bottom line for the connector road is: Instead of having an unsave road/intersection running right between 2 residential homes (withion 15 feet of one) onto CTY K, this Connector Rd propoasal places the road and outlet through non-residential AHS property. It will be a safer intersection for all concerned and give AHS a second outlet to the north to avoid a potential bottleneck during an emergency.

This accident would have never happened if the mandatory court ordered ignition lock had been put on this monstor's suv. I was just sickened when I heard that after the impact that he just got out of his vehicle, it must have been a big jump, and was just pacing on the side. He was a dr, for goodness sakes, and he did not try to help these people? Did anyone try to help save Jennifer which could have at least bought time to take the fetus and save her? Does anyone know how the little boy, thank god, got out with only minor injuries? I pray that he will be okay emotionally. Why does God let such horrible things happen to good people?

Highway 83 between I-94 and Highway 16 is terrible, especially the hill around the Geason farm.
